Install & Get Started
Quick guide to install the LinApBot Chrome extension, pin it, finish onboarding, and start your workflow.
Requirements
- Desktop Chrome (latest version - not mobile)
- Active account on your job platform (logged in before starting)
- Profile document ready (PDF only)
- Stable internet connection while using the extension
Open the Extension Page
Go to the Chrome Web Store listing:
If the page does not open, ensure you are using desktop Chrome (other Chromium variants may differ in UI wording).
Add to Chrome
Click Add to Chrome then confirm. Chrome downloads and installs the extension automatically.
We do not collect fake or unrelated data. The extension only uses what you configure.
Pin the Icon
Click the puzzle (extensions) icon 🧩 → find LinApBot → click the pin so it stays visible.
Pinned icon lets you open the control panel instantly while browsing jobs.
Open & Onboard
Click the icon. The onboarding flow will guide you. Provide:
- Profile document upload
- Contact info & location
- 1-2 focused keywords
- Optional filters (phrases to avoid, recruiter / outsourcing block)
- Enable early / fresh-job mode (optional)
Setup takes about 1 minute if your profile document is ready.
Start Session
Open your preferred platform. Press Start.
Review suggested matches, check pre-filled drafts, and confirm each submission before it is sent.
Early mode helps you spot fresh postings sooner so you can respond quickly.
Monitor & Adjust
Check progress: sent, skipped (with reasons), remaining limit. Tweak filters or keywords anytime, then continue.
Retry previously skipped jobs after adjusting filters if you think they now fit.

- Press Start - check results later
Troubleshooting
Icon not visible?
- The extension icon appears in Chrome's top toolbar (right side)
- If hidden: click the puzzle icon 🧩 → find LinApBot → click the pin 📌
- No listing there? Open
chrome://extensionsand confirm it is installed & enabled
Nothing happens after Start?
- Open the relevant section on your preferred platform
- Ensure daily limit not reached
- Loosen filters if many skips
Too many skips?
- Broaden keywords (remove niche terms)
- Remove aggressive exclusion phrases
- Disable recruiter/company filtering temporarily
Wrong answers in forms?
- Re-upload profile document with updated experience
- Adjust contact/location fields
- Restart session after edits
Performance or slowdown?
- Close heavy unrelated tabs
- Disable conflicting browser extensions
- Keep one Linked job tab active
